-Removed-this appealed to me twenty years ago as i was between jobs and was looking for what i thought would be a simple job
driving down the road, amirite?
$4000.00 for the six week school - steep, but with a promise to make multiple times that in return
in the seven months i was driving (not in school or ojt training) i traversed 46 states, missing only florida and maine and not counting hawaii or alaska because they don't count
it wasn't a hard job, altho the paperwork was endless, and the everyday interactions with state troopers were so pleasant
i learned this about my driving skills
i'm pretty good at 65 mph cruising down the highway
3 mph in reverse i'm a terrorist
downtown new yawk city is the ninth level of hell
downtown los angeles is the thirteenth level of hell
@rookie54 saidYou'd be surprised but in an apartment building I lived in when I was in my 20's there was an EX-RCMP officer who always drove his car into his parking space where it would have been more convenient when leaving to be able to just drive out.

I asked him one day why he always drove his car into his parking spot and never backed in as it would be more convenient coming out and being able to see better. He said I am going to be honest with you. I can't back up worth Crap, only he used the other word for it. I was quite surprised he had been an RCMP officer for 30 years.
