The Scream, the famous painting by arist Edvard Munch, has been stolen from a museum in Oslo. Three armed men entered the museum, yanked the painting off the wall, and drove away in a waiting car. This might not be so bad, but it's the second time in ten years that it's been stolen. In ten years the Norwegians couldn't come up with better security precautions than simply attaching the painting to the wall by wires, which were easily broken? Excuse me, but I think the Norwegians are plainly incompetent. It's high time the U.S. installed an interem government in Norway until these roving bands of art thieves are brought under control. Halliburton could be contracted to provide security for a nominal fee. Then those impoverished and oppressed Norwegians would get a taste of freedom American style! Maybe then we can turn that Norwegian Scream into a nice, big American Smile. Yee-ha!

It's not the same Scream as was stolen 10 years ago - there are multiple versions.
What I think is truly stupid is stealing it. It would have to be right up there as one of the most famous paintings as all time, how on earth do they think they're going to offload it?
