I was thinking of investing some money, what is the interest these days?
I sent all mine off to a Nigerian Prince who sent me an email. He has promised me 200% interest.

Well, I read a book about a man who lost his family house and all his money and more maybe, in a similar way. Although it started very humbly. Sad. I'm sure we can find a better way to earn quick money. 🙂

Romance fraud is popular at the moment, guy or girl matches with someone on dating app, after chatting and getting to know each other they’re asked for money. Don’t have a lot of sympathy for people who fall for that kind of scam tbh, sad that it is though.

Better way to earn quick money, prostitution? 😂

Read an article about that recently. Apparently when the police break it to the woman (it is usually women who get conned) that it was all a scam the first thing thing the woman says is 'is he ok'. They can't believe they have been corresponding with a criminal gang in God knows where.

You have to imagine the level of vulnerability of somebody who could fall for it though, cos that's who the scammers are waiting for. Cynically fishing for the least able and most vulnerable. Scum.

The kind of fraud that happened to the poor man started with a mail from the country mentioned earlier with a humble request to simply open a bank account for a special purpose, that's all and that's how it started. It ended very sadly and it's an authentic story.

Agree, lowest of the low scamming anyone like that.
