Book I've just started: Freethinkers: A History Of American Secularism

Book I just finished: The DaVinci Code. I have some mixed views on this one. I think it was an entertaining book, but not necessarily a very good one.

Book before last: The Iliad. Was inspired to re-read it after seeing the movie Troy. Mainly to see just how innacurate the movie was.

I will be reading Yann Martel's "The Life of Pi" and "Some Things That Stay" by Sarah Willis. Has anybody else read these?

Don't forget about the Flashman series of books plots interwoven with history, very rude & funny.

The Dunction series about moles was enjoyable too....

Robert Pirsig (not sure if that's how you spell it) 'Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance'. A modern day bible, i wish everyone could read it, changed my views on pretty much everything. πŸ™‚

David Foster Wallace has a new collection of essays, "Oblivion". This work is brilliant.

Well I finished the 3rd book in the Wheel of Time series about a week and a half ago, ordered the 4th a few days before I finished and it STILL isn't here and I'm going bonkers! 3 down and still lovin' it. I had picked up the 1st of Terry Goodkind's series but lost it somewhere, I'll need to start that one after I finish this series.

Same here...the Dune novels are my all-time favourites...but my name, title, photo AND the fact that I'm the newest member of the DUNE clan kinda give it away πŸ™„

Apart from Dune...I did enjoy reading the 😡 Harry Potter series-I had quite a few good laughs, Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte, most novels written by Jules Verne, and the list could go on...
