Do we need sweet in our organism ? For example, you like and eat sweet products occasionaly and then you TOTALLY stop to eat anything with simple sugars (icecream, candies, chocolate, biscuits, cakes)... Is that enough of sugar in other food (fruits in particular) to keep your body runnin' ?

Maybe stupid question, but I never thought about it before.

I think there is more than enough sugar in friuts. In fact even some fruits can be dangerous if you are diabetic. Still that does not mean you have to totally stop other sweet stuff. Moderation is important, unless you are already aged and sickly or if your genes are against you (like if both your parents are diabetic). Just my 2 cents.

i dont think u even need to eat fruits for the sugar if u dont eat any sweets.
u must eat fruit for the vitamins, your body cant make vitamins and some essential amino acids.

u must eat food from 5 catogories:
