Sure, why not. There could be a small disclaimer saying that the game will go from rated to unrated if both players click on ok to undo so-and-so's last move. It should be something used only as needed really and not something abused.

BUT, could it also be used by a couple people discussing moves that want to go through variations. Couldn't it? Lets say that more than X amount of the undo option was used (ok'd by each party and therefore unrating the game). The eventual outcome could go into an undecided or Practice game stat or something.

I don't know, I'm just thinking about people that are friends that can't talk about moves in a normal way really.

definitely if you look at my games you'll see a couple i'm playing with someone named loseyourmind. i'm trying to teach them how to play chess and that would have been really helpful.

100% Agree. Thats the point of the analyze board. If you make a mistake or wish you could take a move back after you have analized your position then you deserve all you get from your opponent.

Great idea!

We should implement this - and the moment both players agree on it both accounts are deleted and their IP addresses should be listed with all correspondence chess sites as 'don't let any of these dumbasses in.' ?

So if, let's say, you fancied changing some chess rules, your wishes should be met?
I'm not suggesting the rules be changed. It would be a useful feature for a friendly game though. A useful tool whilst learning the game, to see various outcomes.
