6 months of insomnia isn`t fun... got on average 2-3 hours of sleep a night if I was lucky... you get very paranoid/jumpy whatever motor skills aren`t great and SABC tv is kuk at 4am

When I had glandular fever, I had the world's worst sore throat - it was really, really painful and I just couldn't sleep. I've no idea how long it was, I went a little crazy and, yeah, had the hallucinations and stuff.

It was unpleasant.

I did the same experiment at college, and then followed that up by reversing my sleep paterns so that I got up at 7 at night and went to bed at 11 in the morning for two weeks. My advice, don't do it, it turns you into the walking dead and you fail to be able to function properly with the rest of the human race, on any level.
was it around this point you took the photo that adorns your profile? :p

And no, malinga, I have no children. I'm 19 and I haven't fallen into that little trap yet. 🙂

19 is perfect age for experimentation so go for it. Course if ya really want to see how long you can stay awake better get your dealer a call and start sprinkling some speed 😉

Keep us informed and watch out crossing the road.

About kids being a trap... Nah they are the pay-off after you have been already trapped.

I'll be leaving for work soon... My eye lids are kinda heavy, and I'm not walking quite as straight as usual, lol, so the drive there will be quite an adventure. Too bad I'm not a coffee drinker. 😀

I don't drive. But I think anyone who drives under the effects of alcohol is a frickin @rsehole. And if you really are having problems with motor neurone control from lack of sleep, you'd be a frickin @rsehole to drive.

Don't go all drama queen on me. I've driven home from rock concerts completely mind boggled, two or three hours from home, and got home fine. I've never driven drunk, and this isn't anywhere near driving drunk, so don't call me an @sshole.

I'll call you an @rsehole if you're driving with reduced motor neurone control. Whether you got home safe or not in the past is utterly immaterial, one of these days you'll cause an accident and its only that one time that matters.

You try telling my mate Simon, who lost his sister in a drink driving accident, that I'm being a drama queen and I guarantee he'll want to beat you to a pulp.
