ever- floyd's wish you were here, high hopes zep's ramble on, over the hills and far away. magic carpet ride, all along the watchtower... i could easily go on.
a proud metallica member who prefers Led Zepplin then metallica?!😛
I'm down with "Who do you Love," mostly because it's been covered so manny times.
"Freebird" is one of my candidates for worst rock song ever. Right up there with "Dude Looks Like a Lady" and "Cold as Ice" and "Sister Christian."
"Stairway to heaven" sux. Give me "Achillie's Last Stand."
But best song ever? I'm going with "Atom Heart Mother."
Rock: ‘Sweet Home Alabama’ - Lynyrd Skynyrd
Rap: I was going to pass on this one, but then I saw shavixmir’s Dylan song, and it was indeed proto-rap, so I’ll second that one
Ever: ‘Jambalaya’ is the best songwriting (thank you, Hank Williams, Sr.); I have recordings of it by at least half a dozen groups, but Gerry and the Pacemakers did the definitive version
