I'm playing a game created Sep 26 23:15 (i.e 2001) (id 27120)
3 pawns and quality ahead, even if I blunder a rook away I will not lose this game anymore.
Since january (or maybe march), from the moment i won the quality, my opponent switched to a 14-days delay in playing (fine with me, that's the setting of the game). In august, I send a reminder 'cause he didn't play within the 14-days limit either.
Same is happening again.
Just wondering now : is this the longest lasting game over here ? If it is, I'll just send a reminder again. If not, I'll claim victory.

I thought there was a game going on here where both players only
had kings left on the board, but they were continuing to play-- am I
mistaken?

Haven't seen that one, sounds interesting. At least, my opponent has a pawn left to promote. But he also plays another game with a still lower id, so mine isn't the oldest.

I can't compete with this. My oldest game has been in progress since I
joined the site 4 months ago (83945, against Bobs). It's been going
44 moves and if we're bloodyminded enough we could probably drag it
out another 44. It's a 7 day time out and I usually reply within hours,
but Bobs usually moves every 3 or 4 days, so it's not much quicker
than playing postal chess by snail mail. Which is his right, but I don't
think I'll be queueing up for a rematch.

Bgermeys, claim the win mate ! The outcome of the game's already
decided, he's just wasting your time by playing on, so you've every
right to call time on him.
