One funny thing...

One funny thing about human nature is that all of us seem to enjoy conflict. Healthy majority of people

relish intermittent low intensity conflict... minority sicko ward craves conflict constantly, ratcheted to high.

That's why soaps are so popular.

I though soap was so popular because it is a helpful tool for cleaning your balls/boobies? 😕

Makes sense, jb. Someone once expressed the opinion that 'soaps' hold feel-good appeal because they

portray people with ongoing problems far worse than the viewer's own. Never watch them. So don't know.

"One funny thing about human nature" as in odd, curious, strange... of course not as entertaining or amusing.

HA!!!
even tho this should not necessary, allow me to both restate and then rephrase...

"if that seems ->strange<- to you, and not to others..."
you used tha word "funny", and, i am allowed to do tha same, especially if my meaning iz tha same az yers...

do you see it now, grampy???
yes, now you do...

if i had stated, "to view someone's supposed defects of character az odd, curious, strange iz in and of itself... a defect of character..."
which, in essence, i did...
then you would have had to look within, rather than continuing to think you had a handle on this...

you see, sir, when you stated, "human nature is that all of us seem to enjoy conflict", you were absolutely correct...

itz human nature...
always haz been...
always will be...
BUT,
to view it az odd, curious, or strange iz what iz out of kilter...
it IZN'T odd, curious or strange behavior...
itz normal...

now,
you march to tha beat of a different drummer...
and that's just righteous...
but,
when you are corrected, for stating slightly erroneous points of view, (az i am, quite often) the proper reaction iz to look within...

i stand ready fer yer rebuttal...

Thank you. One comment: If the common thing about human nature was that all of us seem to enjoy tranquility and peace of mind

as opposed to conflict it wouldn't in the least seem "funny, entertaining or amusing" much less "odd, curious or strange". Agree?

greek food???
tex-mex???
all az different az night iz to day...

i ask rhetorically, i know you do...
so,
there iz nothing to prevent a human from enjoying tranquility, peace of mind, and conflict...
i do not see anything unusual there...

you???

Agree (and did have a similar thought while one finger typing my reply). No lasting benefit in overly parsing a construct I was only

subliminally aware of at the time. "One funny thing..." was probably as much catchy thread title packaging as definitive or literal.
