Do any of you have friends of the opposite sex that you hang out with on a regular basis? Do you (or have you ever) frequently spent time alone, either at your place or theirs, and just hung out, with no intent (as far as you know) of anything remotely romantic?
Or is that something that's for the most part, unrealistic?

Really depends on the people though, generally doesn't work if one has sexual feelings towards the other and are hanging out with them in the hope the other will change their mind.

We live at the same address which makes the "your place or mine" discuss short and saves on taxis.

Ain't no such thing. Alone with a woman means only one thing. Unless one is gay, then it's probably about make-up or wardrobe, or maybe about relationships. 😉
