Don't pick on Dollar Store. I like shopping there, at least I don't have to dress up like when I go to wallmart

Since when did Alaska belong to Canada?

Ask the dear governor why, while having a special needs child herself, cut the funding for the Special Olympics in Alaska in half. She is an idiot.

I feel the same about her as I do anyone who prematurely accepts a promotion; she is too selfish (or foolish) to realize her lack of experience and knowledge will be a detriment to both her reputation, and her employer's well-being. She would have been better off to spend several more years in development, working her way out of Alaska into a less rural/more diverse area. She's a plastic hammer, a prop, a cute tool.

I like her glasses. 😛
Would you like her better if she spent 30 years in the Senate and could quote "chapter and verse" about the nuances of any legislation that had been proposed in that time, but was as crooked as a snake (like Biden for instance)?

What I find particularly amusing is the male tendency to defend this politician. Tell me you'd be as touchy if she looked like Hillary.

every politician is as crooked as a snake so this is a baseless argument.

A good argument for electing people who aren't career politicians.

She's a hottie. That shouldn't be disqualifying. If she were a democrat and the same things were being said about her, the "feminists" would be going after her detractors with pitchforks and torches. I'm sick of the double standard.

It shouldn't be the deciding factor which earns your vote.

Subtract the nice glasses, and couldn't you say much of the same about Hillary. A short-term Senator, who really only got her Senate job by riding on her husband's coattails in an extremely liberal state. Couldn't have been elected as dog-catcher without that, and now wants to parlay that meager qualification into a presidency. Has set the feminist movement back 50 years, etc., etc.

If the Republicans had made arguments like that against Hillary the outcry would have been apocalyptic. Where's the outrage among feminists?

The same things being said where? What exactly has been said about her that has you so edgy. By whom, and where? If you're going by blogs, maybe you missed those which claim Obama is the devil?

You're acting as if she needs softer treatment than the average run-of-the-mill politician. That is the double standard.

Well she won't be getting my vote, because she's not at the top of the ticket. McCain is at the top of the ticket and I still think he's a wacko, so as much as it sickens me I'll be voting for Obama.
