mikelom, I think the best way to resolve this is for you to send pictures of your wife to someone impartial - say, me - and i will decide how (a) real and (b) beautiful she is.
I will give a mark out of 10 for each of the two criteria (10 being very real/beautiful and 0 being pretty much fictionary/ugly) and if she gets a score over 15 I will declare you correct in this instance and more generally a King amongst men.
You also need to factor in whether he paid for her or not using a minus 5 point system.
