If you want to help you get rid of malware anf trojons this is very, very good.

Ewido Security Suite 3.0
http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.h ...[text shortened]... urent definitions are installed. None of the top Brand names will find the things this one does.
If you want to help keep Spyware from getting on your system then stop downloading so much porn and visting crappy advertisting sites 😛

I'd rate Ad-Aware SE with the VX2 Cleaner add-on above those 2, but that's just my opinion.

I have spywareblaster and it's partner spywareguard installed.
And AdAware and Spybot.

And other stuff too.

That's great that you would rate them above since they do different things. Try checking them out first then post your opinion. I can watch all the porno I want now with all the protection have. Which is a lot of stuff but ewido kicks butt. Keep your lava soft and spybot that's OK too. Just won't do a thing to Trojans.

When I tried to remove it, parts of it were left in there and it wouldn't uninstall poperly. To make matters worse, the remnants of panda AV that were left in there kept shouting things at me in ...[text shortened]... ake sure you do that first, and then you can go back to where you started.
Have fun.

Hmm, you used a cracked version and it totally screwed your system up...

I doubt it was anything to do with the crackers as they are most likely well adjusted, benevolent human beings that just want to give you something for nothing...

Oh dear... You should either get a bit more practice at trying to sound like you know what you're babbling about, or just learn to think before talking out of your arse.

Spywareblaster actually prevents the crap being installed in the first place whereas AdAware cleans it out after it has.
That's why it's good to have both.
None of these applications are foolproof.

It's ok as an AntiVirus program although loads of people consider it "hogs resources" on your computer and can slow things down and sometimes cause problems. I used Norton AV in the past with no trouble - like millions of others. We tend to hear about the trouble more than the contented users I suppose.
You can still get the other Anti-Spyware stuff - free mostly.

Norton also costs whereas you can get free equivalent stuff.
