Every time he makes a comment about you, challenge it.

You can do it passively by asking them to explain what they meant, or more aggressively by confronting the insinuation. Either way, they'll soon get bored of doing it.

I have a brother in law who is like that.
He is fat and has a huge nose.

I think he does it to try and make himself feel better about himself.

It's sad.
