The fact of the matter is that england are not that good of a team, they have got any any world class players. The reason why they get hyped up is because of the media. The english league is in a bad state at the moment with all these foreign players and i now that african players are the newest thing on the market. Big clubs don't have faith in the english youth anymore or they tend to loan them and then sell them off. Players like gerrard, lampard, cole get so much hype because of the teams they play for. They get all the glory from the media when its all the foreign players doing all the hard work, then the english public believe all the hype and then sob when they lose. Like the WC, english fans blamed ronaldo when it was rooney who got sent off. When england lose at a big tournament the public look to blame someone when they can't accept that the england team is not that good. Just look at the record, where not world beaters and wont be unless they sort out the english league.

Well... drawing against Macedonia at home is shocking, considering there are three people in the country. And losing to Croatia, well, Croatia are an ok team- not what they used to be, but still, ok.
England should still manage to qualify, but running it close in such a weak group is a bit scandalous.
Not that Ireland or Scotland (or even Wales) have much of a hope, but if any of them managed to qualify, and England didn't manage it... that would be quite funny, looking at the groups.

Andorra? Estonia? Do these countries actually own a football of their own? Russia, the were good, 40 years ago. Macedonia- they were good when Philip of Macedon was manager. Israel aren't even in Europe, and they're tremendously average. And the Croats just had a war which wiped out all the young men of the generation which should be playing right now, so they're left with cripples and women, and they still beat England...

Whereas the Scots get World Champions Italy, 2nd placed France, and the Ukraine, and Ireland got Germany, Slovakia who are kicking arse lately, and the Czech Republic, who have been the team to watch out for over the last 6 years. (ANd mighty Cyprus, of course!) 😠There's no justice.
