Paxman, for those of you who don't know, hosts Newsnight. He has a reputation for being a heavy-hitting political interviewer. For example when Michael Howard (Conservative Leader) avoided a question, Paxman simply repeated it about 10 times.
On another evening his weather report was the terse "take an umbrella."
