Paxman's weather reports

Saw them on HIGNFY last night, they are the funniest things I have ever seen on TV! 😀

"Rain in the west, apart from those parts which don't have rain..."

*picture shows rain all over UK* "It's April! What do you expect!"

"So finally and controversially - tomorrow's weather forecast. It's a veritable smorgasbord. Sun. Rain. Thunder. Hail. Snow. Cold. Wind. Not worth going to work really."

This was response to criticism of his weather coverage.

Paxman, for those of you who don't know, hosts Newsnight. He has a reputation for being a heavy-hitting political interviewer. For example when Michael Howard (Conservative Leader) avoided a question, Paxman simply repeated it about 10 times.

On another evening his weather report was the terse "take an umbrella."
