The post that was quoted here has been removedIt's not that exciting. Someone tried to hack my account, so they limited access to it; this is fine. Then they told me I need to give credit card information in order to reinstate my account. Of course, the whole reason I use PayPal is because I think credit cards are horrible and nasty and I'd never dream of having one. I've sent customer service several queries about this and, amazingly, received the same reply, unrelated to my question each time. I've had to email my query to every PayPal (and many eBay, since they own PayPal) executive whose address I can find.
1-4 all involved people being willfully unreasonable, needlessly aggressive or like overly loud.

I don't have a problem with credit cards being used the way you say, but their very existence I think contributes to the kind of mass average mindset that makes me pissed off, depressed and wanting to indulge certain "Project Mayhem"esque fantasies.
