I've been having peach for a while now but i really want cantaloupe melon, i'm tired of peach... it's nice and i still like it but there comes a point were you just have to say, no thanks, that's just too much peach. The peach is strong on the inside though, i'm sure it will understand. The melon is different, new and exciting... it might need a few days to mature but when it does it has the potential to surpass all the flavors the peach could ever dream of offering. It might be tough on the outside but on the inside it's soft and delicate and needs to be taken care of, neglected for too long will damage the sweetness of the inside and you risk it being snapped up by someone else in the process of ripening.
I don't want to wait, i want the sweetness of the cantaloupe melon now, i could open the melon and watch it gradually get better and better as time goes by, sure it might not be completely perfect right away but it would be appreciated so much more at the end of its ripened maturity if i was there to enjoy the ups and downs of its journey.
Originally posted by shortcircuitMerle Haggard did something with "watermelon wine" once. Of course you will now play the "of merit" card, won't you!
The Allman Brothers had a great album called "Eat a Peach"
There has never been an album or song of merit about cantaloupe or any melon.
Go with the peach young man!!!!
