I don't understand your first sentence, sorry.
Yeah that's true- with homelessness, what I was saying is that- it's becasue people who are homeless are on the streets becasue of a more deep reason then poverty. A lot of street people have mental health issues and are not able to live in he constraints of a building.
Is this where one would say "wut"?

You're telling me that "a lot" of homeless people are homeless because they can't live indoors due to "mental health issues"? That's the most ludicrous thing I've heard in a long while.

I would agree that "alot" of people are homeless in the US because we have lousy mental health care and on account of deinstitutionalization (so "alot" would apply here in the USA).... I think the majority of homeless people around the world are homeless simply because of POVERTY, lol.

Other causes are war, disability, AIDS, addiction, etc.

yes. a number of reasons, i've become more restless than usual here and i need to be in a better/different climate, can't do another winter here after having pretty much no summer again. plus i want to do some sort of voluntary work, sorting that out at the moment actually, that's probably the main reason.
I think you should devote the next few years and really commit to some kind of volunteer work. You need to put that focus on other people since you are really not very happy in your current situation. Don't dick around, sign up, and go.

Absolutly, world wide- that too, ofcause. Trev was refering to the first world and so was I.

To clarify; I was agreeing with Trev '.... i'm sure if you looked into it you would find almost as much poverty, classism and corruption in a lot of countries in the west than you would in india. it'll be a different form of poverty, classism and corruption than in india but it'll be there.'
Its different becasue of different causes.

It's not so ludicrous really, poor mental health means unable to live in society and more so after homelessness becasue being homeless has an effect on the person- it brings them to the fringes of society, and once there it is extremely difficult to get back into an everyday routine of secure housing and employment. Just as you would find it hard to survive on the streets, someone there would find it hard in your world. If someone's just been homeless for a few months, not so much but after years they can become institutionalised.

OK, I get what your saying now. I think I was taking you a bit too literally before.

No one has ever accused you of thinking before you post.

No worries.
