I have to confess, snakes are in my top 10. But they don't have soft fuzzy ears. You just can't beat those ears!
You beat their ears?

You're just cruel.

On occasion a scorpion will wander in my house. I usher them back outside.
They are pretty small, aren't they? How can you be sure there aren't more of them hiding in different places...?

Snakes are the best.
My snake recently died, aged 12yrs. I'd had him since he was the size of an earthworm. RIP Sid :'(

I'm partial to almost any non-feathered animal. My family and I are currently considering fostering a service dog.
Oh, I do rather like the feathered ones, as well... but I do prefer them in my garden rather than in a cage. The blackbirds and bluetits get more pleasure from my garden than I do, unless you count the pleasure I get watching the birds.

In the old days, they used to put newspaper on the floor, then you could hear the papers rustle as the scorpions crawled across the floor.

I have been stung a few times, it happens.

:'( What kind was he?

Ours was an albino California King and we think he lived to about 20. I miss him.
