My apologies for my typos of Phildor instead of Philidor.
The Philidor Defence is 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 d6.
as opposed to
The Phildor Defence, popularized by Phil Dor of Centennial Hall at the University of Minnesota, which is characterized by answering White's 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 with 2...d6 and an innocent "I'm going to the fridge to get a Coke, eh?" then getting distracted by an episode of "The Simpsons" in the Student Lounge and never making it back to the game.
