I'm trying to find a freebie website where i can download some piano music...michael nyman's 'the piano' inparticular. Anyone know of any or does anyone have this particular music who would like to share?

If you can get a midi of the piece you like, Anvil Studio (free download) will display the score.

EDIT: I've used this method to learn Bach pieces, works well.

Finding correct sheet music for free might be pretty hard, because it's copyrighted and versions lifted by fans (such as every guitar tab on OLGA) are notoriously inaccurate.

I think your best bet for a freebie is using MIRC or file-sharing software like Kazaa or Ares to find a "public" copy. If you can't find it there, you should probably shell out the bucks for the real version because at least it'll sound the way it's supposed to. Hopefully it wouldn't cost more than $20-$30.
