'Flogging' a dead horse is an 'idiom' that means a particular effort is a waste of time as there will be no outcome.

Only you it seems sir wold 'kick' a dead horse. For what outcome I am unclear.

Can you explain the aforementioned in proper English? The 'wold' is what I don't quite understand. 😉

I could have asked how your keyboard got sticky but decided to pass on that one! 😉

I currently use the toolbar keyboard to add the u,m,j and 7 when their omission is not picked up by the auto spellcheck.

How would you have me prove that to you? Should I send you my laptop for validation?

It's too slow for regular typing.

That is true, so you going to share with us how your keyboard keys got sticking or is it an embarrassing situation?

Crew on USS Harry E. Hubbard (DD-748) in WWII, Korean War and ‘Nam. One of my brothers served on her in the KW. She was also involved in the Tonkin Gulf incident.

@Very-Rusty
I'm sure there are people who cannot spell "would"
and I'm sure they do not spell it as "wold".

If you cannot spot the difference between a typo
and a spelling mistake that is your problem.
