I notice next to some open invites there is a green box specifying play as black or play as white. How do you get that box to appear please?

If you create a game you can choose to play either side or levae it open and the system will decide. The green box in the "open invites" is created automatically, and only appers to people eligible to play (so you never see it on your games)
