Oh it definitely counts for something - just not as much as money in football these days, unfortunately

Hats off to Watford, I concede graciously, they were far better than us this season, and deserved to go up.

But I'm still going to sulk....

but ur 1.3 million richer thanks to our takings deal, money cannot buy team spirit and if not spent cleverly can ruin it, anyway we just want to beat sunderlands lowest ever points tally, was it 15 pts, thatll be easy and we'll come down financially secure which will be quite novel for a "small" club

They played really well and IMO both teams deserved to go up.

I've been on both sides of the coin where playoffs are concerned as my team are the playoff champs (or this season chumps) as they have played in them 5 times now.

We beat Watford twice this season in the league. We also beat Leeds away. Our problem was losing to the 3 relegated sides!!! We only took 6 points out of 18 points against them!!!!!! Everything went wrong for us after we beat Liverpool in the League Cup. Which is pretty typical.
