My previous post to previous post expressed my disappointment in nobody commenting so far on language being ' alive and ever changing/developing '.

However, I think there have to be speeds of control, or even language itself becomes chaotic and anarchist.

'The knife not cutting' doesn't apply to a complete lack and graduation, or even education, of language development which seems to lack abundance in the younger generations of today.

It is well recorded, in many many countries and in many cultures, that the younger generations when entering Universities need to spend their first year re-reading and studying English and Maths because they are nowhere near the mark of entry standard. Yet the governmental figures employ an acceptance ratio requirement. Do you agree?

With regard to a graveside, one of poetry's best is, of course, Thomas Gray's Elergy. Which kindred child of the future will read it, with regard and true understanding, when sms texting 'Cn u mt m @ d Mc 4 a bgr' in 40 years?

😉

English is a Mongrel language from Mongrel nation, and is constantly evolving. The minimalistic use by the youth of the country is a failing in my opinion, and it should be fought off with fervour. Language shouldn't be static, it should be evocative, useful, and functional depending on it's use. I'm not a wordsmith, but i can appreciate one.

If words are paint, then shakespear is Picasso.

How about "bullcrap" or the more stronger version that you cannot type or it gets deleted?
Both "Hogwash 1. Worthless, false, or ridiculous speech or writing; nonsense. 2.Garbage
fed to hogs; swill."... and "bullcrap" work for me, since rhp tos frowns on the obscene.

Grampy Bobby,
I'm using this thread to express a wish that you would consider using words that are easier to understand for players, who don't have English as their first language, such as me, for instance. Many posts are lost to me as I fail to understand what you mean. I hope you don't mind me bringing this up.
Believe me, even to people who understand every single word he uses, the thought, if such there is, behind those words is still as clear as mud.
