I'm going away for a vacation and I have three move timeout on a few
of my games. In one of the games against a top player here he is
stalling and I have no doubt that he will cash in if he gets the chance.
Can I postpone in some kind of way?

nils.

I have no clue for sure...but I think when you agree to a game you
are bound by the time limit. That is why I always pick 7 days. Too
much crap can happen and keep you away for three.

You can email him and ask him as a decent person and a fellow chess
player to not time out you. Implore upon him your situation. I hope
he agrees. I know I would.

I concur with this post. If the other player does not agree to give you
extra time. It's a game. Your life will not be affected by it unless you
let it.

Excuse me!
But i would like you to know, that if you are talking about me, i am
not delaying the game, i dont play here as much, if you want proof,
keep checking my games, its not like i move versus other, i think that
the accusations that you have said are immature, especially the
remarks you made, for one, i have 70 games +++. When i come on,
i move maybe once or twice a day!
If you can not handle that, grow up dont complain, as for the timeout,
if you cant play, then you cant play! I Usually dont claim a timeout
for about two days after their time has run out, just for sportsmanship!

Ok thanks to you both. I had hoped for a postponefeature like on
gameknot. Oh well don't worry UP I don't see you as a top rated
player 😉

Take care.

No offence, Unexperienced Players, but I am not the only one to think you are a prat.
So shut up and we will all forget about you.
