I have a new dell dimension 5150 and jus a few days ago the screen in the monitor becam completely inverted. When i reset all of the monitor settings nothing happened but the reset box on my screen was NOT inverted???? For the time being i have flipped the monitor upside down so everything would not be inverted, and it is working at the moment. also the cursor on my screen was adjusted with the monitor and was 100% inverted with the rest of the screen but for it too is working since i have the monitor upside down. I do not understand what has happened and i would appreciate if anyone could help me out with this problem.
thanx -Luke

LOL.

Errr... try uninstalling the graphics card driver and any monitor (display adapter) ones.

Then use Dell's Driver's CD supplied (or go to their website and download it) and install a fresh copy.

Go to the Control panel / Display
On the Settings Tab, click on Advanced.
On the Advanced screen , there should be a tab called 'Rotation', which should give you the option to rotate the screed 180 degrees.

If this doesn't work, it may be that the magnets were damaged in transit and it will need repairing.

you could try standing on your head (if you are blond) as it helps drain out the blond pigments which causes one to go dizzy.

..also, if it's an NVidia card there is something called NVrotate. This will let you rotate the screen 180 degrees back to how it was by it's own settings.
You could also try doing a system restore.

Another thing you can try is, hold down ctrl + alt and hit the up arrow key.[I think that's only for Intel graphics]
