chicken is right.

i dont think there is a for or against... as fo my opinion i am against except incases of incest, death to mother, and rape. extreme circumstances call fo extreme measures.

I was going to ditto this, but the third sentence confuses me. Do you mean the following?

"I am supportive of any woman who wishes to exercise her right to choose to have or not have an abortion without government interference, but that is a different thing."

Hmmm, proca, perhaps you need to look at your own question again. You just asked 'For or against abortion', yet you answered with 'I am for the right to choose'. That is different. I am for the right to choose as well, to answer your 2nd question.

If its a case of 17 year old Essex girl who sleeps around (stereo typical I know) who gets herself pregnant aftger sleeping with 10 blokes in as many nights, then she only has herself to blame and should face up to her responsiblities, however, if during the prenatal checks you find out the baby is mentally/physically disabled, is it kinder to terminate or bring the baby into the world whos existence would be nothing more than a cabbage or the case of a rape victim impregnated by her attacker, then there can be no straight forward yes and no answer!
