I met Andy Summers at a guitar workshop in Oakville, Ontario (Canada) a few years back. He seemed like a nice guy, a little full of himself, but nice. I brought him some crappy Thai spring rolls for lunch (part of the glamorous gopher job I had). Then he played a set of jazz standards for the class.
I for one am happy to see him back on tour. I'll never have to hear him butcher "All The Things You Are" again! 😵
P.S. I heard that Stewart Copeland used to tape words on his toms, and then hit them in order so they spelled out "F--k You, You C--t!" when Sting was looking. Is this true? If so, Stewart Copeland gets one (1) high five from me.
