From what we've heard they already have moderating, just not what some would like it to be. I'd never join the site personally.

Facebook is the biggest pile of shyte on the planet. It’s highly unfortunate than WhatsApp is owned by them, no doubt everything we write online is available to be read by someone. I’m going back to letters.

It is more about personal info I am concerned about. What I am saying to someone doesn't really matter one way or the other. Writing letters was slower but much safer indeed! I don't think we will ever see those days again though. I do a fair amount of e-mails under an alias that only close friends and family know.

There are several other messnegres around I am on Signal, telegram, Threema, wire riot… what ever my Clients prefer

Maybe I am new to social media but I couldn't imagine being on more than one site. There are enough places within RHP. It's like a local pub rather than going to different ones. A friend of mine told me recently that he played chess on line which I never knew, but he told me a different site and you could see each of us trying to nudge the other towards a game on their preferred site.

Maybe most people go to loads of sites and I am weird. If not and they are like local pubs you could have a site team and play contests between sites like darts leagues between pubs.

My friends go to many sites or none at all. I use RHP and facebook. If I can't get in touch with my family on phone or mail and still want to get a message through, I can use personal messages on fb and I can also see if they have been received and read, That may be enough for the moment.

I just use text or WhatsApp for family. WhatsApp is great for pictures but text works in football grounds where data and wifi can be iffy. When one of my daughters is away she likes to text in matches. She also likes to torment her Evertonian uncle during his. So proud! 😁
