I've had many very cool cats. My favorite would probably be Magic. He had lots of Siamese in him, and he was huge. Not fat at all, just big. Hind feet on floor he would rest his head on my desk. So gentle and loving with people, but he ruled his neighborhood.
Cats are like raptors, they don't back off just because their opponent is clearly the superior fighter. Magic had the scars to prove it.
I was trying to get to work on time, had backed out of the driveway, when I saw some drama unfolding. Three neighbor cats had Magic surrounded. There was a vegetable garden and a stack of ruined bikes in their way. Magic made expert use of the terrain and sent each cat, one by one, on their bleeding way. I was late for work that morning.
