Bach's dead.
Not so. I have been reliably informed that Dai Bach is alive and well and living next door to my Welsh friend in Cardiff.

The day I play 'god save the queen' is the day I'm getting a month long shag for it.
My favourite part from God Save the Queen is the 2nd verse:

"O Lord our God arise,
Scatter our enemies,
And make them fall;
Confound their politics,
Frustrate their knavish tricks;
On thee our hope we fix:
God save us all."

I am pretty they had the Scots in mind when they wrote it. 😉

Actually Verse 6 proves it:

"Lord grant that Marshal Wade
May by thy mighty aid
Victory bring.
May he sedition hush,
And like a torrent rush,
Rebellious Scots to crush.
God save the Queen!"

Haha, I've never read the words before: no wonder Scots hate it!

Shav, I'm going to recommend you check into Ton Koopman and the Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra. I hear he's real opinionated like you. Seriously though, very good stuff. He's Bach cd's with Yo Yo Ma are really good.

I knew you were going to write something like that. haha

I thought you were going to write: "If you want classical music, check out Buddy Holly or Elvis."
I think he already used that line, didn't want to repeat himself.
Did you ever hear Smetana's 'the Moldau'?

Fuhrer = Fault
Führer = right the ü you dont know like ä + ö as well
Fuehrer = still right as ü is the same as ue

When relating to German language be sure to make it right.

What you are relating to the 3rd Reich anyway ?

Für Elise is simply for elise you plonkers.
They were refering to the Ted Nugent song , "Fur or Else" , I think .

Shav, you might like Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries" excerpted from the opera Die Walküre.

Die Walküre ("The Valkyrie" ) is the second of the four operas that comprise Der Ring des Nibelungen (The Ring of the Nibelung), by Richard Wagner.

Most are familiar with it from the movie "Apocalypse Now".

Edit: spelling and typos

I'm getting well into this classical malarky.

I'm rockin' to Pavarotti as I type!!!

Talking of Valkyries though...where the hell is Nyxie?? I've not seen her around for a while!
