am i allowed to patent the word, "possession"???
it's prolly written down somewhere in the massive archives of the bowels of the internet as to the rules pertaining to who can post what and when and where, but,
i defy those rules...

type about yer hemorrhoids...

ok then, tell me about the clothes you wore to church seven years ago and what type of lint you found in the pockets afterwards...
write me a poem of anguish and pain, and the failings of those around you as they refused to help...
give up yer ideas and not just set them aside,
burn them in the fire of samskara, so that they'll not plague you again...

Like when you walk into
a convenience store, cathedral,
art gallery, forest,
café or sweat lodge
and you're hungry for something,
sometimes it doesn't help to know
what you're after
or what love is.
It helps to know
that how beautifully you get lost
while looking too hard
for the truth
clears a way for the sacred
to invade your post-modern progress,
habits gone lackluster,
fears, shames, doubts, fantasies,
portals to Mystery
within and without,
come to induct you,
reshape you
in ways you will
not be able to tell another
and should not try.
Instead, show.
Show them how
everything is for sale now
and how nothing of value,
show them,
waits for you neatly
on a shelf, wrapped and affordable.
Show them
how there are no slick deals,
big, cheap gulps of authenticity;
show them how what is sacred
is never packaged,
easy to grab,
discounted,
how a healing spirituality
is not a commodity,
how artistry of living
costs everything
while it unshackles
the holy prisoner
convicted
of loving
this impossible world.

you know where two other bones are, and you know how badly you want them, even though you have no use for them, and yer main concern is that you might lose one or two of the bones you already have if you go foraging...
