Edit: maybe something to do with mapping a pentacle onto an "elven" (seven-pointed) star?

I seem to remember Isaac Newton tried to map the color spectrum against the twelve-tone musical scale of his era (could be wrong).

532 was also the first time Anno Domini was used for the reckoning of which year it was (only in Christian countries, of course. Must have been Julian of Byzantium who started that).
