Christ, how long does it take to get a post moderated around here?
I've been waiting for 6 hours. If there aren't enough people to
moderate posts, then just don't moderate the posts. Under
the "forums" section in the RHP help menu it is claimed that the post
aren't moderated in the first place. Has there been previous abuse of
the forums sufficient to warrant this blatant paternalism? If there has
been rampant abuse, then why don't the offended parties just send
their complaints to RHP via the feedback function, and ask for the
offender to be banned from posting to the forums. It just seems
ludicrous to have to wait the majority of my potential chess-playing
day to have a post posted. My original question involved the RHP site
showing me as having 10 games in progress when I actually only have
9 in progress, thus preventing me from creating an open invite, thus
forcing me to have to wait for my other opponents to get back from
church or wherever they are to make their moves, thus requiring me to
spend my sunday studying (of all things) rather than playing chess.
And don't bother telling me about the "pawn star" bait-and-switch,
when I joined this site it was free and I could play some every day.
Now, in virtue of the 10 game limit, there are two or three day dry
spells between opponent moves.
