complex ridden, embittered and disappointed with life crowd seizes every possible opportunity to pout. You want proof? Take

an objective look sometime (ignoring the nicknames) at a good 60-70% of the posts to any given general forum thread. Yes?

This experimental thread was designed for the RHP dust bin. Guilt by association avoidance and the expected double blind confirmation of

casual silence speak louder than any of the usual mechanical posts. Thread has served its purpose and is now closed to the viewing public.

Ah Geezs Gramps, you have to give a guy more than 2 hours to reply, my dinner tonight lasted that long as my wife and I sat and talked.

Yeah, there is a lot of silliness and inane bantering, but that is why it's called the general forum; anything goes if it don't fit somewhere else. Some people just blowing off steam, jokes that seemed funney at the time, but fell flat, and the unavoidable crass behavior that I also see everytime I go to the mall.

There is enough here to be worthwhile (you are a factor in that), so skip the junk and dig for the gold. And don't worry, we will always have the lamppost.
