You would think they would have froze to death by now. I can't believe you waste so much energy to heat up an ant. Lock those giant mutant ants out and tell um to stay out. Now you have me curious why you think no one would ever bother to walk through your door. Just because they haven't in the past. Maybe, you should advertise in the newspaper? "House with no locks, burglars and other various thugs welcome." "BYO Weapons."
Oh and another thing.......the whole town now smells of cat urine. There was a gas leak at one of the plants and the whole town stinks.

Mokko, why don't you become an illegal alien like everyone else here in the United State before George Bush builds a wall around the United States like they did in East/West Berlin.

Yes, lots of times. Not out of choice, mind you. My babysitter took me and my sister there as a "fun day out".
I am originally from Gloucester which is only about 50 miles from there.
You trying to suggest that I made a flippant remark?
Originally posted by kw72ukAnother surprise to me that someone else is from, or near there, such a small world after all. I think you would have agreed aswell! It's supposed to be a place for families and the young to enjoy and like but im 21, young, and I don't like it!
I live near Weston-super-Mare and I probably agree with whatever you were trying to say about it. 🙂

From what I remember of the place, when the tide is out, you had to walk miles to get to the sea (well, actually, Bristol Channel).
Edit: Oops, said English Channel.
Originally posted by lauseyIm surprised that the first thing you remember wasn't the mud lol It does have a few nice places there but it's just the people and the atitude there that I don't like.

Originally posted by expressiveoutburstI went on a school trip to there as well once when I was about 12. All I remember is the very bad ghost train. It was just pictures of ghosts etc that just lit up as the train went past with awful ghostly sound effects. I was almost falling asleep!

I live in a city of about 60,000 near Cleveland Ohio. It's called the "International City" because we have so many ethnic groups here. Every summer all the ethnic groups put on a fair and sell their culinary specialties. All-in-all, it's a pretty nice place. My next door neighbor cut my grass most of last summer because I was recovering from surgery and couldn't. In the winter time, often when I get home from work, he has plowed the snow off my sidewalks (can't get him to do the driveway though). The Puerto Rican lady next door gives us tomatoes & flowers from her garden and rice & beans when she cooks them. The 80 year old Polish guy across ther street doesn't do much for us, but he's a pretty friendly old guy. Good neighbors are a blessing!
Originally posted by lauseyhaha yeh the one on the pier is pretty shocking but not in a scary way lol! I think its changed abit since I last went on it all those years ago but don't know if its any good still! Only 5weeks left at uni then im back in the place for 3months 😞

I for one don't want to be inprisioned behind a wall when the nukes start flying, while the corporations have moved their headquarters out into the safety of other Countries. I know a trap when I see one.

Originally posted by mokkoHOLY COW! Rent outside the Flint area runs $450-600 for a nice 1 or 2 bedroom apartment. I found a place on the 2nd level right in front of a colored water fountain on the man-made pond, which has it's own furnace/air conditioner, wash machine & dryer, and even a small garage for $670/month. Crystal Lake Apts.

Average rent for a 1 bdrm apt is now $1200/month plus utilities.
I'm surounded by rednecks and newfies. And lets not forget the crack addict population.
Have I ever mentioned it's colder than than the heart of satan up here?
It's not real cold here either. 😵
