HOLY COW! Rent outside the Flint area runs $450-600 for a nice 1 or 2 bedroom apartment. I found a place on the 2nd level right in front of a colored water fountain on the man-made pond, which has it's own furnace/air conditioner, wash machine & dryer, and even a small garage for $670/month. Crystal Lake Apts.

It's not real cold here either. ๐Ÿ˜ต
Funny thing is rent use to be that way here once too. When I was 18 I rented a refurbished 1 bedroom for $450/month heat and water included. All these years later it's the exact same apartment.....same appliances, same carpets...probably even the same paint job and now goes for over a grand.

I do have plans to move out of here and go down south where my brothers are but I have to apply before the courts to do so and all too often the applications to relocate are denied.

Meanwhile I have no family around...finished all my requirements at the college here for the course I want to take (which is down south) and have been planning this move way before I ever became pregnant with this child.

But god forbid women actually have the freedom to control their own lives and provide a future for their children.

It use to be real nice and peacefull here. Add oil companies and rig pigs and the whole town goes to the dogs. Alot of workers come up from the states. Any correlation? Who's to say.

I live about 5 miles away in sandford. I visited a friend in Weston when I was about 20. We went out in his Ford Escort (with extra wide wheels) and he drove up and down the sea front about ten times playing the dance music version of the Tetris theme tune at full volume.

My view has been tainted since that fateful day..... :'(

Because people don't walk into other peoples homes that's why.
Oh, sweetie... in the U.S. they have child molestors who are sentenced to 5-10 years for raping little girls but they get out in 3 years! Yes, one of those perverts even broke into a neighbors home in the middle of the night and STOLE their 9yr-old girl right out of her bed! ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Then the SOB raped her repeatedly and dumped her body in a trash bin. This happens ALL THE TIME in the U.S. cause lawyers make a lot of money to represent these people - they want to recycle them. ๐Ÿ˜

One pervert MURDERED a child and was sentenced to 15-20 years, BUT he was out in JUST 6 YEARS! And 2 weeks after getting out he kidnapped and MURDERED another little girl! Kids are not safe in America. The courts are more concerned about the criminal's rights than they are about the victim.

I work in Flint, Michigan, USA and live outside the city limits.
Is there any city in the U.S. worse to live in than Flint, Michigan?

Here in Dublin Ireland, there is currently 41 Afghanistanis in St Patricks cathedral. They are in the 7th day of a hunger strike in protest against failed asylum. today 10 of them climbed on the roof and threatened to jump because the police were asked to move them (the church helped them until they claimed they were going to kill themselves).

Does that constitute as a problem??

I guess when it comes down to dealing with sociopaths then it really wouldn't matter if a persons door was locked or not.

If a person is determined and desperate enough to break into someones home with cruel intentions then they will do it no matter what the obstacles.

People jumping off a church is more a nuisance than a problem.
