Ah. I misread the T's and C's. They won't compensate for musical instrument CASES, used as packaging. Silly me.
Guitar is now boxed up in a home made 'coffin' made from 3 inch ply, 3x1 planks and lots of bubble wrap.
Just glad I don't have to use any couriers as they tend to employ young idiots, who like to play football with anything labelled 'fragile'.
Instrument is destrung and has wooden struts both sides of the neck which is wrapped in bubble wrap.
