Talking with your mouth full?

Mine doesn’t have to dance around quite so many anymore.

No. I just have verbal diarrhea.πŸ‘

i disagree

the brain has little, or nothing at all, to do with a dancing tongue's self-preservation from gnashing bicuspids and molars

i posit that the tongue is itself sentient
and knows instinctively what to do in most instances
and still gets bit

I’m finding that, lately, I have to bite mine much more often, now that some folks’ nonsense, requires my response to be withheld.

A miracle: any baby can learn any language (or mre then one, depending on circumstances)seemingly effortless, but even for a chld older than 10 it is hard work.
Learning the mother language: A miracoulous work of the brain.

My husband was fluent in German and also spoke some Afrikaans having worked in South Africa. He bought a few of the German Muzzy tapes for our boys when they were young. He told me of the ‘window of opportunity’ whereby children could easily learn up to 4 languages at around ages 2-4.

Factoid

Whilst the human eye is classed as an organ, it is also part of the brain.
The retina is an extension of the central nervous system.

one of my own brain's abilities is the illusion it foists upon itself that even tho my body is literally falling to pieces, bones creaking and snapping, leaking from places unmentionable, my mind considers myself to be a 24 year olde stud

who am i to argue?

I'm mostly fascinated about memories, how we deal with them, what they mean to us and how we select which of them are important and which less so and how we re-construct situations. When I compare early childhood memories with my cousin's recollections of the same happenings, they don't always match. Fascinating.

Something I did for the first time. I bought a coffee got to chatting with one of the people behind the cash and started to walk away without my coffee. They had to call me back to get my coffee or I would have been in my divers seat, then notice I didn't have my coffee. Of course I hadn't had my coffee yet. πŸ˜‰
