Sometimes I'd like an empty practice board with pieces available on a
sideboard that can be moved to the practice surface. That way I could
set up endgame scenarios using, for example, a king, bishop and
knight against the same to investigate mating possibilities.
It would also be nice to save boards with certain setups to use in play.
One of my favorite games was one where each player gets a king and
three king-side pawns all in original position, and see who can
promote first.
Are these things possible?
Thanks,
Coyote
That last option is a "Wild" game offered on ICC...so you can pay
their membership fee and play it there if you like.
I recommend downloading EcTool for you other prob. It is free and
you can keep track of your games with it and keep it open while you
are on RHP...it is what I use...go to www.chessopolis.com and look
under Email/Correspondance chess and it will give ya the link. Best
freeware program on the net.
