I'm doing a quick stop during my journey, just to ask fellow rhp's if I am alone at this opinion: Prague is a gorgeous city, even called a 'Paris without Eiffel tower'... however, it seems locals have learnt a lot from the Parisian French: They are rude, arrogant and treat foreigners like crap 😞

I doubt I will return to Czech once again 😠

Oh, I am saddened by that. I have always liked to chat with people from there, I had always thought they were very nice. Now, I am disappointed. Could it be they thought you were an illegal alien? Just kidding about the last part. 😀 But really, that is so wrong.

P.S. I hope the rest of your vacation goes well.

I was there last year - the people are cool and metropolitan, but I can't say I found them rude: the women are the most beautiful people I've ever seen...and the only drunks I saw were fellow Brits and Scandinavians. Did you check out the Museum of Sex Machines and the Museum of Torture? The exhibits are almost interchangeable!

LOL 😀

That's the sad part, you know. I've met people from there and they are indeed nice and interesting... locals of Prague and being there, though, it's different in my opinion.

I think it's like Paris and the rest of French. A good friend native of Lyon told me once: "We hate Parisians too, so don't worry" 😉

hahaha, true! The torture one amused me but when I went to the sex one, I thought the same, lol

Beautiful city, specially staying in Charle's Bridge for hours, enjoying a jazz quartet for a few voluntary coins! 😵

By the way, what's the deal with the beggars?!?! Why they kneel and bow like that?! 😲

I'm not sure, but you're right, they were a little intense - I have to admit, I'm not a fan of travel, but I did like Prague a lot: the beer is cheap, the food is good, the people are easy on the eye (they know how to eat properly and haven't been contaminated by capitalism - you hardly ever see anyone eating on the move, they know how to use their time, too) and there's quite a lot to see outside the city: I went with some friends up to the former Nazi transit camp/fortress/Jewish Ghetto at Terezin - beautiful place, but still eerie, even now.
