It's beyond question that Chealsea have won, and to be frank, who cares. They bought the title with Russian blood money (allegedly, apparently R.A. has good lawyers so I wouldn't want to get in trouble...) and it's pretty obvious Man U'll come second considering how they and Arsenal are playing. We all know, and few of us really care (leaving aside the fans of the top three.) I think the interest lies in the forth place spot (yes you guessed it I'm an Evertonian). So my question is who'll be getting that spare Champs League birth.
Everton have an 8 point gap (thats 8, e-i-g-h-t, one more than 7, for any Liverpool fans who need reminding) having played one more game than Liverpool in 5th. Is that enough? Will 'Boro, Bolton or Spurs mount a late challenge? Predictions please.

I think Everton have it sown up, however, I don't think the no 1 spot is quite set in stone yet.

More importantly... Who out of the current bottom four will manage to retain their Premiership status?.

It wouldn't take a genius to figure out I'm going for the mighty Crystal Palace to beat local rivals Charlton on the last day of the season to stay up!!

I think it says a lot that a person who says Everton are dour also thinks there are 22 teams in the Premiership. Maybe you can't remember the last time your team scaled such heights?

Everton everton evertooooon ...

Would be sweet as candy should Liverpool, despite all their purchases, not make it to the 4th spot. Having said that I woudln't put money on Everton holding on to 4th until the end.

Leon Osman is a great young player. He helped my team stay up last season and we did not want to give him back.

Also of interest is who's going up. I guess that it would appear to be Wigan, Sunderland and Ipswich, but you never can tell with the play offs.

And who can resist following the progess of Delia's distintegration over the next few weeks? Time to switch to the recipes that don't require sherry.

You're not doing too bad without him though. Mr Burley is a bit of a genius.
