It's not his fault that he was born into a life of privilege and unearned wealth. What's he supposed to do? Go on national TV and renounce his "rich" heritage and vow to make money from now on only by the sweat of his own brow? Vow not to spread his inbred genes?

I always thought the royals did their bit by drawing in the tourists and reminding people of Britain's former glory. They are living history, glittering fossils from a bygone age. Surely that is worth some remuneration to compensate him for his loss of privacy and living in a celebrity fishbowl not of his own making.

i love it when people go on about british former glory. they are usually refering to the british empire. that bit of lovable british history when we cheekily tried to take over and enslave half the world. thems were the good'ol days.

Did a good job on that one, I guess it was fun while it lasted, except for the slaves.
It was real nice what they did to the Ab's in Australia for instance. Yes, a worthy history.

I got it.

Fire the royals after making lifesize cardboard cutouts of them and placing them around all those drafty castles to excite the tourists.

Poor "Chuck" and Anne and well the rest. Have you ever seen a more homely lot in your life? I mean Charles would "take off" in a brisk wind. Anne looks like a ....Charles with breasts. I do give cuddos to Liz if for nothing else being able to tolerate her offspring and her Prince, who somehow manages to put both feet in his mouth at the same time. How does he do it? Now Margaret...now there was a rebel too bad she didn't last as long as her mother did...or her sister for that matter.
