IIIIIIIIII WILL TEACH YOU PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it's probably one of those things you can't really communicate to others. before you go in, you don't know, no matter how many stories you've heard. and when you get out, then you'll know, but others can't really get it when you tell them. until they get in. some things are like that.

I've been looking for stories from the 'inside', but they are really scarce. I guess people either want to put it all behind and forget once they're out, or maybe it just seems futile to even try communicating it... the few former inmates I know don't really talk about it much.

A good place to plug Piranesi's "Carceri d'Invenzione":

Jane Meyerding, an internet acquaintance of mine, has written a detailed report of her jail experience: http://mjane.zolaweb.com/jail.html
A women's prison is probably quite different from a men's prison, and prisons in the US are probably quite different from prisons in Antarctica 😉, so it may not be that useful for 7ate9. But I found it interesting to read.

Speaking from experience (yet again...)

In Poland they put barium in the tea. You couldn't get a hard on even if you wanted, let alone raise a fist.

When you take a poo, don't wipe. And don't brush your teeth. Seriously, what man would want to stick his pleasure pipe in a poo filled hole? Or, for that matter, kiss you?

I say stay dirty....it's your only chance of survival. LOL!

should i fight in jail or not?
Depends on where you are incarcerated. The European jails are pretty decent from what I hear. If you are going to Pelican Bay in California be prepared to be somebody's bitch unless you are a pretty good sized person.

A guy I worked with told me that a certain guy told him to fight him and he said ok. Then he told him these pu??ys in here will not fight. He also told me that if you do not fight they will fight you all the time. He told me one time some guy was kicking him in the butt like he was a dog until he turn around and hit him so hard that he broke his own wrist. The boss said that that guy that wanted to fight that guy I worked with as big as a house. That guy I worked with said one day he put a lock in a sock too fight off three guys one time. These are just a few things I have heard over the years from one person that was there. You do not even want too know about the food. By the way this is about prison and not jail. There is a big differance between the two. If you fight in jail you may go from jail to prison. Prison can be a survival situation. You answer your own question.
