I searched for UK based proxies and here is a list -

I highly recommend the following add on for Firefox

Just installed it myself today from reading this thread, much more convenient for using all those proxy servers. You can input the IP addresses of the proxy, the port code, and make sure it only applies for certain websites; I didn't want to have to turn it off everytime I wanted to access a certain site, say the UK BBC iplayer because of an American IP address.
From this I got Pandora.com to work from the UK.
