There's been much discussion recently about which national team is better than which other team, particularly in view of recent events where engerland realised they weren't invincible after all.

Of course, FIFA produce rankings to allow teams to be compared, but that just reflects the current position. It would be interesting to see who was the most succesful team historically.

This site, as well as tracking who the current 'unofficial' (ie not from the world cup) world champions are, has lots of stats. Enjoy.

Typical!
Scotland's not been champion since 1967!!
Me thinks we should challenge Zimbabwe for a 'friendly'.

Is this yet another Caledonian plan to take over the world?

Lads, you're already running England. Know when to draw the line!
