The RHP Prose contest 2021

Rules:
* We do a contest for original prose, written by RHP members. So please contribute only things you have written yourself. All material should be thought of as copyrighted and authors who wish will be attributed to their work. (Those who wish to be anonymous can get that also.
* Language is English.
* Length is no more than 1000 w ...[text shortened]... o delete it immediately after the test.)

If something comes up, I will add to this set of rules.

I'm on holiday from tomorrow so will start putting pen to paper. (Though won't of course use paper or touch a pen).

My mind has become a vacuum, A cavity of confusing resonance.
Admittedly, murder mysteries are not my strong suit. Outside of Sherlock, I've read very few.
But, there's opportunity for a little integration I think. We'll see. 🙂

If you just explain how it came that the saxophonist was poisoned you have a great story and everybody will assume it is mine. Just add a hard German Akzent
